Merry Monday # 104

It's time for me to get a head start on Christmas cards again via the Merry Monday challenge blog.  They really make me think of new and different things, and that's good.
As you can see by the graphic, this time we have a color challenge using slate, kraft, white or cream.  It seemed like such and odd color combo that at first I was stumped.  But then I looked over all the wonderful things the design team had to offer and the wheels started turning...
I came up with this card.  All that blank space to the right of the angel needed to be filled in and I tried this and that before settling on this kraft colored ribbon at an angle with a bow.  Then I put some glitter on my angel for a bit of added interest.  I'm rather pleased with how it came out.

The Fine Print: Angel stamp by DeNami Designs, greeting from the "dollar" bin at Michaels, diamond glitter by A Muse Studio, cardstock and ribbon from my stash.

This is so simple & beautiful! Love the ribbon (kraft ribbon...must find some!) and the glitter on the angel is just the exact right touch!

Very classic and very beautiful, QJ!! I'm sorry I haven't been around as much. With Easter and company, it will be much the same for a while, but it's all good! Happy Spring!! Hugs, Darnell

This is one sophisticated card with the colors you have going on here. Really like the angel outline and the gold bow is perfect. I think Blogger is messing with me...I know I was a follower, but didn't see me, so I tried to join. It let me. I may be following twice. Who knows? TFS such a lovely card. Hugs
